Build one controlled baseline
- Roll a usable set. Keep enough visibly different objects to cover more than one point instead of waiting for a perfect rarity.
- Start pressure early. Place one contributing defense where enemies first enter useful coverage.
- Add a middle layer. Give survivors another section where your current objects can keep working.
- Reserve cleanup. Do not stack every strong object at the opening; keep one useful final contribution.
- Run the whole test. Watch the first point where enemies stop taking enough pressure.
- Change one variable. Move, replace or upgrade one role, then replay the same baseline.
DECISION RULE
Name the failure before spending.
- Leak at the opening → test front coverage.
- Survivors cross the middle → test sustained middle pressure.
- Only a few reach the core → test cleanup coverage.
- Groups overwhelm one point → test a visibly different crowd-control role.
- Waves clear but the boss lives → hold the layout and test boss focus.
